#1 Crysis Review

Greetings, respect, and love to everyone from my first game review article, my friends. I wanted to start off with the legendary FPS series, Crysis, which is a Turkish game. I hope this will be informative and enjoyable.

Let's get started.

First, let's take a look at our story:
We, as the character named Nomad, conduct a raid on an island due to some anomalies occurring there. However, we are part of a specially trained government unit, and we wear a custom-made suit that enhances our speed, strength, and vision. Upon arriving at the island, we encounter North Koreans and realize they are conducting an experiment there. In this experiment, the Koreans are trying to awaken a million-year-old fossil and use it as a weapon. Our mission is to stop them, but things don't go as planned, and when the fossil comes to life, it also activates the main ship it’s in. In the middle of this chaos, we try to survive and save lives.

Now, let's move on to my impressions:
1- The game has stunning graphics. Even though I played it in 2018, I can still say I was blown away.
2- If you rely on your suit and dive into action, your suit's energy may run out right in the middle of the action, which can make you extremely frustrated.
3- The AI is somewhat weak. Because when you use your suit's speed feature and suddenly appear in front of them, they stand there dumbfounded. It takes them about 3 seconds to realize we are the enemy.
4- Vehicle usage is fun, but it felt like every vehicle reaches the same speed, regardless of the engine. This could have been adjusted, but it's something you can overlook.
5- The story is short and ends abruptly. (But hey, that's what the other games are for, right?) Everything happens all at once, and you don’t fully grasp what's going on.
6- In some areas, there was a riot of colors. Especially when you enter the alien ship, finding your way might be a bit challenging.
7- Although it was disappointing to use the most powerful weapon only at the end of the game, it was still fun to use it.
8- I think it would’ve been better if we could upgrade the suit ourselves. This could have easily set the game apart from a regular FPS and made the game even more enjoyable.
10- You can open the console in the game and enter cheats :). That's how I played, and honestly, it made the game even more fun. In the few times I tried playing before, I ended up quitting because I ran out of ammo once and because the suit’s energy drained too fast in another attempt. But with the cheats, I went all in, and I’m happy.

Considering its release year, story, setting, and gameplay, it's a solid game. Play it, recommend it, that's all there is to say.
